Inside Delta Force: The Story of America's Elite Counterterrorist Unit
Eric Haney
Delta, 2005
great book, great shape
This is an awesome book, by a no nonsense guy, who has been there and done that. The book came quickly, and for a great price. It was new, and with no marks, and the binding was as if it never had been opened. Thanks for a great book!
Full Catastrophe Living: Using the Wisdom of Your Body and Mind to Face Stress, Pain, and Illness
Jon Kabat-Zinn
Delta, 1990
Healing for the Heart and Head
I bought this book in the middle of a year-long battle with insomnia--not the typical life-changing trauma that brings many others to this book, but insomnia destroyed me both physically and emotionally. My doctor suggested anti-depressants, and a friend suggested Full ...

Fantastic!
When this book arrived in the mail, I sat down to thumb through it. My 3 1/2 year old noticed the kids on the cover and came over to see what I was looking at. I read her one of the poems and she was immediately drawn in. She kept asking for more and more. We spent an ...

Give Your Child a Headstart !!!
This is a great preparatory book for parents of a first-grader...simple, direct and informational. Another 'must' read for parents with children about to start school and also children in grades K-8 is Bully-Proofing Children: A Practical, Hands-On Guide to Stop ...
Dragonfly in Amber
Diana Gabaldon
Delta, 2001
Keeps getting better
I'm utterly enthralled with the story of Jamie and Claire! Their story just keeps getting better and better with each book. Although longer than Outlander, I didn't find Dragonfly boring, even the historical parts. I've never been a real big fan of the 18th Century ...

OUTLANDER a novel on CD by Diana Gabaldon
This is the start of the best series of books I have ever listened to. It is very long, but keeps you wanting more. There is always tons of action, love, sex and humor. I highly recomend it for men and women.

The Book of Bright Ideas
Sandra Kring
Delta, 2006
Wonderful story told from the eyes of a child
This novel is absolutely delightful. The story is told from the perspective of a 9-year-old girl nicknamed "Button", and I think Kring does a fantastic job. I could feel Button's terror when she becomes nervous (scratching the heck out of her skin and biting the side ...
A Breath of Snow and Ashes (Outlander)
Diana Gabaldon
Delta, 2006
Great Ending to the Outlander Series
I'm finally done! Whew! I read the whole series and I thought the last, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, was just as good as the others. I do wish that it wasn't as quickly tied up at the end, jumping around, without the final word on what happened to Claire and Jamie, but ...
Final Exit (Third Edition): The Practicalities of Self-Deliverance and Assisted Suicide for the Dying
Derek Humphry
Delta, 2002
Excellent advice
I have always believed that I should own my own body, even when it comes to deciding when it is time to die. As a mature adult, I should be allowed to make my own life-ending decisions. Laws in the U.S. being what they are, this can be hard to accomplish. Final Exit is ...
