Jonas and Kovner's Health Care Delivery in the United States: 8th Edition (Springer Series in Geriatric ...
Springer Publishing Company, 2005
Well written and interesting book about a dry subject. The chapters in this book fly by and the author does a great job of making complex topics concerning health care easy and understandable. Although this book is required for a class I am in and wasn't bought for pleasure, I do not mind reading it and actually enjoy it.

Gossip Girl #7: Nobody Does It Better: A Gossip Girl Novel (Gossip Girl) Cecily von Ziegesar
Poppy, 2005
'Nobody Does It Better' than Cecily von Ziegesar! Everyone thought that the hard part applying to college was getting accepted. But, now that acceptance letters have made their way into the hands of the Upper East Side's most glamorous, it's quite obvious that deciding on which college to attend may just be even more ...

Divine Nobodies: Shedding Religion to Find God (and the unlikely people who help you) Jim Palmer
Thomas Nelson, 2006
LIfe-changing read I read this book at a very critical point in my life. I was fed up with what we commonly call "Christianity". I was fed up of the formulas that were supposed to make my Christian life work, formulas that were making me miserable because they weren't working; I was fed ...

Building a Church of Small Groups: A Place Where Nobody Stands Alone Bill Donahue, Russ Robinson
Zondervan, 2005
Everything you need to start a small group ministry In the title to this review I said that it contains everything you need to start a small group ministry. By that, I don't mean to say that this book is the last word on small groups, nor do I mean to say that it has everything you will need to maintain and grow a ...

Nobody's Fool Richard Russo
Vintage, 1994
One of my all time favorites I read this on the beach in Ixtapa. People had to have thought I had lost my mind, as I sometimes laughed so hard I cried. But, of course, the book is so much more than funny - it is a totally rounded book with off-beat, but believable characters.

Goodnight Nobody: A Novel Jennifer Weiner
Washington Square Press, 2006
Loved this Weiner Book! Wow, I was expecting to see rave reviews for "Goodnight Nobody" and was surprised people didn't find it as fun as I did. This is my favorite JW book so far and I was really hoping she'd decide to write a second book as a follow up. I thought the dialog was crisp and ...

Nobody's Baby But Mine Susan Elizabeth Phillips
Avon, 1997
My first of many books from SEP This was my first book from SEP and though I've read others from her since, I believe it's her best. Cal Bonner is a quarterback who's coming close to the end of his career, despite what he wants to think! He is also a university graduate, but Jane Darlington doesn't ...

Sociology: A Down-to-Earth Approach (MySocLab Series) James M. Henslin
Allyn & Bacon, 2007
Interesting and Lively Admittedly I haven't read a lot of sociology textbooks, but this one is quite good. Every chapter has real-life examples (and many of the author's own experiences), so it not only makes you know the theory but also feel it at work in our societies, although the author ...

Nobody Nowhere: the Extraordinary Autobiography of an Autistic Donna Williams
Avon, 1994
Autistic Girl Reviewing an Autistic Book If I could describe this book in one word it would be "safe." Donna's world winsomely twinkles, it's no wonder she--and all autistics--find the "real" world terrifying. She describes in childlike trust and a type of naive bluntness her inability to connect with others. ...

Nobody Knew What to Do: A Story About Bullying (Concept Books (Albert Whitman)) Becky Ray McCain
Albert Whitman & Company, 2001
For All Ages - This book is rated among the timeless and yet it is VERY TIMELY for this period of our lives. It is not only interesting, but it guides 'anyone' to understanding the difference in "telling" and in "reporting something to prevent harm". The author is at the top of the ...

No Body's Perfect: Stories by Teens about Body Image, Self-Acceptance, and the Search for Identity Kimberly Kirberger
Scholastic Paperbacks, 2003
Insightful and very helpful I will admit; I have been struggling with body image and "looks" for about as long as I can remember. This book by Kimberly Kirberger helps me to realize that no body is perfect, and that you need to embrace what you look like and have. If you can totally accept ...

Nobody's Princess Esther Friesner
Random House Books for Young Readers, 2008
"This is my kind of Helen!"--Tamora Pierce. That pretty much sums it up for me!! This is my favorite book! It is well written exciting and funny. I like how the author shows Helen as more then just a pretty face. In this book Helen learns to fight, and ride. She isn't just going to sit around all the time a let everyone else have a the action. No, ...
