Atlas of Human Anatomy: With Netteranatomy.com (Netter Basic Science)
Frank H. Netter
Saunders
, 2006
=)
Such a GREAT supplement to the Anatomy Coloring book. It's better to color the coloring book using the same color scheme as this book. Everything is big, colorful, plenty of labels, and very helpful for learning anatomy. It's now my "bible" for school.

Better then they usually do
Everyone knows that these guides typically stink because the game changes so fast. Thankfully, with this guide they have taken a different approach. Instead of being a book of spell listings, gear, and stats, it is a book about characters, background, strategy for each ...
Atlas Shrugged (Centennial Ed. HC)

Atlas Shrugged
This, I think, is Ayn Rand's best. I love this book. You do have to get past some of the 'preachy' areas but the philosophy is spot on. There are some parts that get a little windy (as in long-winded) but a must read anyway.
Rand McNally 2009 The Road Atlas Large Scale: United States (Rand Mcnally Large Scale Road Atlas USA)
Rand McNally & Company
, 2008
A road atlas for older folks
After many years and countless referrals to Rand McNally, This larger size print atlas with spiral bound pages is just the ticket. We refer to it and use it on all our many trips by auto. I strongly recommend it to all road atlas users
Our Dumb World: The Onion's Atlas of the Planet Earth, 73rd Edition
The Onion

, 2007
Awesome! Great Gift.
I got this for my boyfriend's birthday gift. He loves the Onion "News" site, and was a Geography major in college (perfect, right?) I don't think there was a moment, until he was finished, that he wasn't carrying the thing around with him. He loved it, and I have to ...

366 cartograms cover a vast array of subjects, providing a definitive reference on how regions and countries compare in resources, production, consumption, and more. almost an encyclopedia
This is my third copy of World Atlas. Each one has been such a substantial improvement over the previous one that its purchase was inevitable. Great maps, witty, relevant text and the usual breath-taking photographs of wine country. (did you ever notice that no body ...

Cautionary Tale and Eeriely Accurate Prognostication of Economy Collapse
I read that book about seven years ago because I was intensely curious about Ayn Rand and her books. So many people waiting for the bus or riding one seemed to be into her books so I bought a hardback edition and started reading it. I could not stop reading it and ...

Best Study Aid Ever
This book is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it for any anatomy student with lab practicals. Rather than having to find a partner, drive to the school, and sit in the lab with a bone box, I was able to study by myself in my own living room. I would not be ...

Those who preach selflessness do it for selfish reasons
In today's political clime Rand's writing is must reading. We are currently experiencing a resurgence in the war on the individual, with Hillary Clinton dropping quotes right and left that sound remarkably similar to statements made by Stalin and Lenin. Enough is a ...

Incredible Family Resource
I've had the new atlas for 60 days and find myself looking something up every 2-3 days. It's really been fun looking up remote places like Palmyra Atoll, Kerguelen Island, the Fly River and other obscure places I read about. And now I've found an interesting use ...
The Noonday Demon: An Atlas of Depression

A great supplement to graduate level texts on depression
I literally cannot put this book down. I am not a sufferer of depression, but a grad student majoring in psyschology. I have been looking for a text book would give me lots of accurate and valid information on depression but also give me the patient's point of view ...

Another year, another Rand McNally Road Atlas
When I was a kid, I loved every time that my family bought a new Rand McNally Road Atlas. As soon as I could, I would sit down with the atlas and trace rides across country, from state to state. Or I would look for strangely named communities or. . . . I would spend ...
